Features of the ropeway
The Biwako Valley ropeway is the fastest in Japan, arriving at the top of the mountain in around 5 minutes.
*The ropeway travels at 7m/second to ensure the scenery can be enjoyed at a leisurely pace.

Notes
・The ropeways are wheelchair friendly.
The area at the top of the mountain is partially barrier free.
・Strollers can be taken on the ropeway.
・Pets must be placed in a cage before riding the ropeway.
Note that pets are not permitted in any of the Biwako Valley facilities during ski season.
・Service may be suspended due to strong winds or thunderstorms.
